I’m a Toronto-based makeup artist (www.blondemoxiemakeup.com) well known for my Day of the Dead makeups. Here is one of my favourite shoots with model Lauren WK! I’ve titled it Harvest
This is a Day of the Dead Sugar Skull cake topper. I’ll be putting more pics of Day of the Dead Skulls on my facebook page soon. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Why-Not-Cake/147134635310368
Hello pretty ones you have found a blog full of everything and anything with calaveras.
A "calavera" is Spanish for skull and "calverita" refers to the little sugar skulls that people gift and decorate for the Day of the Dead.
Dia de Muertos is my favorite holiday. It's roots are at the base of Aztec rituals and I always feel connected to Mexico when I celebrate it and share the traditions.
If you have any questions or want to share a story, don't be shy, submit it!
My sister and my twin also contribute to this blog and my obsession with calaveras has affected them too!
